What these quotes don’t describe, however, is that intuition is not just something you are born with. It can be consciously trained and developed.
Think of enhancing your awareness of your institution as core strength training for your spirit and your authentic personality.
The fact of the matter is that our brains only consciously process a small portion of the input we receive in any given moment. The rest of the input never reaches the level of conscious thought but does impact other areas of our brain. Those other areas of the brain then produce physical and instinctual responses, creative ideas and a recognition of patterns and likely outcomes. We collectively name this non-logical but very valid way of knowing as “intuition” although sometimes people refer to it as insight or inspiration.
Strengthening our connection to our intuition can keep us safe, make sure we are acting in alignment with our own values, encourage us to explore beneficial opportunities, make better decisions and allow us to be more fully our best selves.
